Vicky Krieps mit European Actress Award ausgezeichnet

Alumna Vicky Krieps wurde für ihre Rolle als «Sisi» im Film «Corsage» mit dem Europäischen Filmpreis als beste Darstellerin ausgezeichnet.
Sie schloss 2008 ihr Schauspielstudium an der ZHdK ab. Im Film verkörpert Vicky Krieps «Sisi» in einer neuen Form. Die Kaiserin hat Hunger nach Wissen und Lebenslust und wehrt sich gegen das Leben im festgeschnürten Korsett.
In ihrer Dankesrede sagte sie: "I want to dedicate this award to all the women everywhere in the world that need to be seen and heard, that need to free themselves and heal from these deep deep wounds that we carry for generations. And that we need to heal in order that men and women can come together again."
