Das Departement Fine Arts (DFA) der ZHdK hat ein neues Studienangebot ins Leben gerufen: Der Master Major Art:ificial Studies wird erstmals ab Herbst 2025 angeboten!

Im Master Major Art:ificial Studies konzentrierst du dich auf die Schnittstellen zwischen Kunst, KI-Technologien und Gesellschaft. Die Frage, wie Technologien unsere Beziehungen zur Welt und zu uns selbst verändern, steht im Mittelpunkt. Im Studium setzt du dich künstlerisch mit dem expandierenden Feld von KI- und weiteren neuen Technologien, sowie dem damit einhergehenden sozialen und kulturellen Wandel auseinander. Du reflektierst, wie diese Technologien die künstlerische Produktion beeinflussen und lernst einen kritischen Umgang mit Tools.

Call for applications: Master Fine Arts, Major in Art:ificial Studies

The Department of Fine Arts (DFA) at ZHdK has launched a new study programme: the Master’s Major in Art:ificial Studies will be offered for the first time from autumn 2025!

In the Master’s Major in Art:ificial Studies, you focus on the intersections between art, AI technologies, and society. The programme is centred around the question: How do technologies change our relationships with the world and with ourselves? In your studies, you use the instruments of art to engage with the expanding field of AI and other emerging technologies as well as the societal and cultural changes they propel. You reflect on how these technologies influence artistic production and learn to use tools with critical intent.
